Preliminary Task





School Magazine



This is my finished school magazine (front cover and contents page) for my preliminary task. My target audience was for 16-18 so mainly the sixthformers. I chose this age range because I am 16 so therefore I'm an inside eye of the sort of thing they could like.

To get a rough idea on what to do I research and looked into other school magazines. I decided I wanted to do a completely different school magazine look. I chose to use a green screen so I could choose my own background and also try it out in ready-ness for the real actual magazine.

I decided to use this picture with Kim as my model for my front cover, I thought it was striking. I also liked that there was alot of space surrounding her meaning I could easily fit my texts on the page.

    Megan- this really isn't very good and the ratios are all wrong. I hope your actual magazine will be of a better standard. You really need to work hard and ensure your blog is up to date. Look at some other people's to give you an idea of the standard!
